Craftsman Snow Blowers

Within two stage models, with Craftsman, you get more if you pay more.  Expect to pay $600 to $900 for 24-28 inch versions.  But the 28 inch is far more than 4 inches.  Removal speed, clearing compacted snow, handling and controls are better on the bigger machine.  But not to be outdone, the smaller machine gives you better surface cleaning and less noise.  Do some shopping to make sure you get the one that will please you.

If you really want to move snow, take a look at the Craftsman 88690 which replaced the Craftsman 88999.  At $900 it's a best buy.  Sears often has it on sale for only $739.  If you'll take a little less performance to save some money, look at the $600 Craftsman 88957 which replaced the Craftsman 88955.  Don't move down to the single stage models - you'll be disappointed.
